About My Care Newcastle
The website has been set-up by Newcastle City Council, so you can rest assured that the information comes from recognised and legitimate bodies. We only reference care services where we are happy that the quality of the service meets the standards required of the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England. However, while every effort has been made to make sure the information presented here is accurate and up-to-date, we cannot guarantee this is always the case. Read our full terms and conditions.
Newcastle City Council have developed the site in conjunction with various partners including the NHS in Newcastle, the voluntary and community sector, and more importantly - you! Members of the community have worked with us to make sure the information meets your needs. As part of this, they helped us develop some top tips on how to use this website. If you think we've missed something, or would like to be involved in future work on this website, why not visit our Contact us page.
If you need help, information or advice with care or support, this website should help you to find it. It isn't meant to give you all the answers, but instead point you in the right direction to find them. As the area of 'care and support' is so wide reaching, we have created this website as a single point of reference out to the many local (and national) organisations who provide expertise or services.
Our plans for the future of this website include extra information on services and activities in the city which can help improve your wellbeing, among other things. But let us know what else we need to tell you - it's your website after all!
