Police non-emergency issues
If your call is less urgent than 999, you can call 03456 043 043. This frees up the 999 service to handle police emergencies.

The Emergency Duty Team (EDT) is part of Newcastle Adult and Children's Services. It is responsible for providing cover for social work emergencies that occur outside of normal office hours.
